Class begins and ends with the heart- opening sound vibrations of the harmonium...and your own voice.

BreathSpirit, Life Force, Universal energy, Prana, Qi, Chi, Ki...Breath is the vehicle of Spirit. Through the breath we invite what guides, nourishes, and heals us. The breath not only sustains the practice, it brings about the transformation of yoga. This transformation is the ultimate shift from striving to being, from thinking to deeply listening. The mind's attention on the sound and quality of the space between the breathes brings us closer to our Source. In that space, something profound emerges; you..without your story.

MovementMovement of any kind; ecstatic and joyful, slow and mindful, the movement of sound reverberating through the layers of your being...Dance, sing, surf, chant, run through the forest, practice Qi Gong or Vinyasa Yoga...Feel alive in your body, connected, strong, and free. The mindful movement of Yoga unravels the resistance, binding, the habitual patterns and the conditioning of both the mind and the body. Yoga postures, along with the breath, coax the body to open and create clear space inside. In that space, who you really are comes forward.

StillnessSlow down, pause, allow the mind, body, and spirit to sync. Establish the grounded, nurturing connection of Earth energy. Root down into this life- giving, and balancing force. Allow it to rise up through your body and rest in your center.. Earth energy invites us to become quiet and still, to observe and listen deeply...Our attention witnesses the pulsing of energy, lofting insights, an expanding awareness...we breathe beneath the surface of what comes into our awareness and we are able to connect with the unchanging, all-knowing, ever present self.
